We had Kaleb and Colin for our move. They had to load our POD with furniture from our second floor and our first and in the garage and loft. It was all done wonderfully. These young men are efficient and polite and work well together. I plan to have them both back when my house sells and the rest of my belongings need to be loaded into another POD.

Kaleb and Colin did a wonderful job loading our POD for transport. They were very careful and worked together beautifully. I plan to hire them again when my house sells and I need another POD loaded.

The two young men, Kaleb and Colin, greatly surpassed any thoughts I would have on my job of loading the POD for me today.
Professional, friendly, careful and considerate. I underestimated their abilities. I paid for 2 hours and when I realized how much I had listed I assumed I would be adding 2 more hours. Fortunately, and amazingly, they were finished with the furniture in 1 hour and took on the garage and finished in another hour. Wooden pieces were wrapped in plastic so the drawers could not fall out or the glass break. They even loaded some large tools and cabinets from the garage that we knew we could not move ourselves. All loaded perfectly in the POD which is going to be picked up Wed. I surely will be using this company again once my house sells and I need to load another POD with the furniture that is left her. I will ask for Kaleb and Colin specifically.

I had a really great experience with this moving company! My team of movers consisted of Kaleb, Ray, Andrew and Cade. They worked very well together and efficiently; a huge plus. Very courteous, very careful. I have high end furniture and the previous big name, more expensive than they should have been moving company was not as conscious or careful of that fact. I would definitely recommend them and call on them again.

Just moved for the first time in many years and they sent Michael, Kaleb, Boston and James to move us. These guys were great. They hit the ground running and worked steadily for over 10 hours only stopping briefly to eat lunch. They wrapped the furniture very well and were very careful with it. Allowed us to put felt on bottom so not to scratch the floors as they unloaded. They were all very nice, cordial and professional. They all interacted so well with my special needs son that they made it a really fun day for him. They are to be commended and rewarded if possible. Thanks again to Michael, Kaleb, Boston and James.

I must say I’ve moved more times than I care to admit and honestly this was by Far the absolute Best I’ve ever experienced. They were on time, wrapped everything, knew exactly how to maneuver some tight curves in my house. Damaged nothing, took pictures in order to assure myself and them were protected from any confusion. Micheal even tightened my glass table without me asking. I’ll tell Everyone. They have no competition in my book. Call them, don’t mess around with any of the others.

Steven and Brayden got to me earlier then expected and moved super fast ! They were very careful with my things and made sure everything was were i wanted it, even spoiled my puppy with love lol i will be recommending gamecock moving to everyone i know and using them in the future ❤️❤️

We had Mike, Trevor and “Muscles” out to move a huge 430 lb safe and a heavy, bulky treadmill from upstairs in our house down to a moving POD in our driveway. They were very professional, made quick work of it, and were very cautious to avoid hitting any walls. Excellent work all around.

Gamecock moving recently helped my fiancé and I move from Columbia to West Columbia, and we had a wonderful experience overall! Our movers – Graysen, Steven, and Jay – did an awesome job. They were hard working, efficient, personable, and very helpful throughout the entire move. They got us moved in just under three hours which we were thrilled about. This was our third local move in the past seven years but our first time with Gamecock Moving and it was by far our best experience. Jeff B., Steven S., and Desmond F. were both efficient and friendly. They were on time and the entire move was completed in a very short time with no problems. Desmond even put two of our more valuable items in his own car and drove them to our new home so there would be no chance of them being damaged! After having used another moving company for our previous moves, we chose Gamecock Moving this time is because the hourly rate does not start until they arrive at your home and ends when they complete the move, unlike others where you pay from the time they leave their facility until they return to it.. Another reason we chose them is because they charge a “flat fee” for mileage, unlike others where the mileage is a percentage of the total bill. We were also impressed with the “rave reviews” both on their website and on the Better Business Bureau website. Jeff, Steven, Desmond and Gamecock Moving lived up to all our expectations!

I used Gamecock Moving to move an upstairs office to downstairs. Brayden and Cade were my movers, and they were excellent: timely, courteous, efficient, funny, and careful. In two weeks we are putting most of our house in a pod for some renovations. I recently used Gamecock Moving for a family move and worked with Kevin, Isaac, and Nick. When they arrived, we did a walk through in which I showed them everything that needed to be moved. They quickly devised a plan where two would work on moving boxes while one worked on disassembling the bunk beds. We had full over full bunk beds and they were able to disassemble more quickly than planned. When reaching our new home, I only had to direct them to the rooms once and as items came off the truck, I just told them which room and they unloaded quickly and neatly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I contacted Gamecock Moving because their sister company Tiger Moving was unable to help me. Zach contacted me right away, gave me a quote and I was set. Fair price as I was traveling to the upstate. Words cannot describe the type of service I received, DeaMonty, Trey, Stephen and Cade could not have been more courteous, respectful, and professional during my move. They surveyed what needed to go and got to work immediately. It was a long day but there was no complaining about the time or the complexity of some pieces. Stephen set about figuring how to move a refrigerator while others moved the other items. Gamecock Moving gets all the stars I have to give! They did excellent work on a sometimes challenging job packing a POD. The movers were: Montay Row, Chris Reeves, and Matt Jacobs. They arrived early and ready to work on the hottest day of the summer (July 29, 2021). They were friendly and hard-working, but they were also open to ideas and coaching from my adult daughter and myself. The challenge for this particular move was that there was likely too much stuff for the POD, and it had to be packed very carefully because it was going all the way from Columbia to Chicago. So, it needed to be packed as tightly as possible so that everything would fit, and so that things didn’t jostle around and get damaged. It was really doubtful whether everything would fit, but these guys would not stop until it was done. They worked so hard packing and repacking that POD so that there was no extra space anywhere. They even took apart a giant metal shelf when it looked like it might not fit as is. They got it all in there! No one could believe it! They never gave up.

Toward the end of the move there was a challenge with taking apart my bed – the dreaded stripped screws! (Stripped by the last person to put together the bed – not these guys.) Well, these guys did not lose patience, did not give up, did not blame one another — they just kept working until they resolved the issue. Their “can-do” positive attitude was so refreshing to see! Call these guys to do your move. Request Montay, Chris, and Matt! You won’t regret it!

Montay & Dominique arrived promptly, ready to get to work. With just a quick run through our apartment, they knew what they needed to do and immediately got going. They took care of every piece of our furniture and belongings, ensuring that no items endured any damage, and that every item made it safely to the next place. Both the old place and the new place had some pretty tight corners and turns for some of our bigger pieces, and some stairs, but they didn’t get discouraged and made it all work out. They are very personable and we enjoyed spending our Saturday move day with them. it was hot outside but they are super hard workers. They helped the stress of moving be mellowed out and did so much for us. Thanks, guys!

I can’t recommend Gamecock Moving highly enough. Ours was a simple job, load a truck with the contents of our niece’s storage room so we could drive it to her new home in Kentucky. Parker and Mitchell were prompt and professional, arriving precisely at the agreed time. The load was perfect. Absolutely nothing shifted on the drive with the truck to about half capacity. I don’t know that I will personally need movers in Columbia again, but if I did, I would not hesitate a minute to call Gamecock Moving.

Apparently they thought I had picked another moving company because Thumntack told them I had gone with someone else. BUT once I called them, they came right out and were super quick moving my stuff and did an excellent job. I was very impressed.

They moved our sons into an apartment on the fourth floor. When the elevator was backed up with others trying to move in, our movers took the steps to not waste time. They were professional and extremely polite with smiles on their faces from start to finish. Moving in or out of a house, an apartment, and/or a dorm, I would 100% use this company. Clean cute, hard working young men who pride themselves in doing an excellent job, Gamecock Moving! They go the extra mile to assist their customers. For example, even after the allotted time we had hire these two men was over, they stayed and continued to assist us on their time… who does that these days! Great care was taken in bringing our furniture to us with each load. South Carolina is fortunate to have such a company of quality people. Words cannot express how grateful our family is in having this company assist us. Please do yourself a favor and check them out for any future moves…loading and/or unloading of your cars, trucks, etc. (Esp. moving in and out of dorms and apartments with your college student-end on a good note as a family… hire Gamecock Moving)
